About WismART

WISMART is a publishing company, label and concert organizer specialising in contemporary music. The firm has been involved with such award-winning productions as Pulitzer Prize Winner ORNETTE COLEMAN, whose CD “Sound Grammar” received the 2007 German Record Critic’s Prize at the Essen Philharmonic. And then there is the trio DAS KAPITAL, whose two-CD reworking of the Austrian modern classical composer Hanns Eisler’s compositions earned them the 2011 German Record Critic’s Prize. In 2012 the RENÉ AUBRY composition “Memoires du future”, subpublished by WISMART’s MV-NRW Musikverlag, appeared in the Wim Wenders film “Pina” and in late 2015 an instrumental composition from RENÉ AUBRY was featured in the critically acclaimed movie „Ich bin dann mal weg” (I’m Off Then). 2017 WISMART will concentrate on new concerts and cds with artists such as Christina Fuchs, Projekt Schwedt, Z-Country Paradise, Gabriel Coburger and Heiner Schmitz.
